I am a senior executive at a company with over 10,000 people, so I believe I have had some experience with people and business and hopefully have learned a thing or two about focus and commitment. Don Moore has both focus and commitment but he brings a lot more to a real estate relationship. I am selling the home of my mom who is over 90 years old. I wanted the best price but I am over 3000 miles away. I also wanted someone who knew the market, was honest with me, would drive a bargain in my interests, had high integrity but also was very caring, as a mom is still very much around. I interviewed the best brokers out there and I picked Don. He has met every one of those requirements. Don knows the market, probably sells as many homes as anyone else, and can give you a real-world assessment of what is selling, what isn't selling, what are the trends, where to price it, and why. Don will work hard to find buyers, not simply those who show up at a caravan, but also those "hard to know" buyers, as he has a long list of folks who are waiting for that "right property." Don is aggressive: even if the strategy is harder, Don will take his time to push the envelope on price, to see if he can find that one buyer to pay you top dollar. Don is smart and interactive: he kept me in the loop a ton and gave me an honest assessment of how to move the price to match the interest the buyers were showing in the house. He was also balanced, not too interested in the quick sale, but also recognizing my tolerance for keeping the house too long and what the market might say. Don worked hard: he had a lot of action on the house and kept pushing possible buyers until he found the right fit. Don was responsive: whether I called him at 11p eastern time or had to have him find me at an odd hour, he was happy to do so. And, finally, Don was caring. He didn't have to go to my mom's house at midnight to turn off the sprinklers, but he did. He didn't have to call the contractor on some faulty work to help close my house but he did and the house is about to be sold. In short, Don is the real deal: a good businessman who has focus, commitment beyond reason, and caring. And he is smart enough to give you honest information along the way and get you the right sale price with the wait and risk you can tolerate. He is unique among brokers and if you select him, you will be fortunate to have him around.
